Got Season 3 Legs and Dory's Embrace

I picked up the season 3 Vengeful Gladiator's Legs and also Dory's Embrace. These items made a pretty noticable impact on my strength. I hit harder and can take a lot more punishment with the added resilience on my cape slot. I love them both.

I also got some tanking gear from Heroics. I got Spaulders of Dementia, Eaglecrest Warboots, and The Sun Eater. I'm becoming a pretty well geared tank in addition to my PVP set.

More PVP gear

I'm still farming PvP gear and it's losing all it's appeal. Doing the same old battlegrounds again and again and again is old news and really boring. I got the legs and the trinket recently, costing me about 30k, and I'm not looking forward to farming another 45k for the chest / neck / ring at all. I'm going to try to get 2 of the 3 to use in rated arena matches this week, so by Sunday. That should be a challenge.

I got my Savagery enchant on my weapon finally. I need to pick up Nethercobra Leg Armor today for my new legs, should set me back like a couple hundred G. It's not a big deal at all for me to spend money though. I got kinda bored of doing BGs and I ran through a bunch of quests yesterday. In about 2 hours I made 200 gold easily just destroying quest after quest with my new insane epic gear.

Voig is getting PVP gear

So far on my Gnome Warrior I've picked up the Vindicators Boots / Gloves as well as the season 1 Gladiator's Greatsword, gloves, and shoulders.  The character is finally feeling decently equipped for PVP with 150 resilience and 1700 buffed attack power.

I still need like 12 more PVP epics before I'll actually be competetive. Then the goal is obviously to pick up the season 3 weapon and become insanely powerful. I have 1100+ arena points right now due to just doing 2v2 in greens and not giving a crap about my record. I'm gonna grab the helmet and legs of season 3 first and then save up for the weapon. This will allow me to put my librams on them and not have to worry about upgrading ever.

All told I should be finished getting all the honor gear I need in like another month. It's been a long boring process and I can't say I had much fun with all the AFKs, but it was totally worth it. Last night I did Shadow Labs to get my kara key frag and I was doing about 42% of the damage for the entire run.

About to turn level 70!

Voig (my re-roll Gnome warrior on the Kirin'Tor server) is about to hit level 70! This is obviously a critical milestone in any characters progression. It's even more so for me because the leveling process is much faster in arms spec, but once I hit 70 I wanted to get geared up to be a good tank (in addition to grabbing up PVP gear in arena for when I want to re-spec)

My guild was doing a "smash and grab" ZG run just to try to get the turtle polymorph spell for our mages and the tiger mount. The guild had never done the tiger boss before, so that made it pretty fun. I re-speced to my protection build and went to town, neither of the drops we were hoping for ended up falling though.

The great news is that now I can finally get some footage of myself tanking with voice over audio commentary and start to post it up. I'd really like to make a guide to tanking each outlands instance. There are so many specific little tricks that are never covered in write ups and I've yet to see a really comprehensive tanking advice video.

Voig is at 44 now!

I made 10 more levels since my last update. My gnome Warrior Voig is now level 44! Wearing plate armor is amazing + I got my Mechanostrider. I'm down in Tanaris now just starting to do the quests there. Feralas is next. It's virtually impossible to find groups for dungeons like Uldaman I've noticed. Some tool that joins ends up leaving after 20 minutes and they knew full well all along that they were going to be doing this. I guess they don't understand how hard this screws everyone else in the group, or they are just HUGE dicks.

Voig hits level 34

I'm playing a new character, a Gnome warrior named Voig! He got Thermaplugg's Left Arm at level 32, so that is a pretty kick ass axe to level faster. I'm up to 34 already, and I paused to pick up the Highlanders Plate Greaves for the minor run speed buff. Running faster is invaluable for leveling. I suggest everyone take the time as soon as they hit level 28 to grab 20 AB marks and get these. I won 3 of the last 4 games in AB I played, even as alliance!

Starcraft, CS, WoW

I've been playing SC, CS, and WoW. If anyone wants a game I'll be down to smack ya around.

I got some new gear !

Other than just switching into more season 2 gladiator gear from my season one I also upgraded my tier 4 helmet to Furious Gizmatic Goggles. Check out the stats on these, it's a hell of a lot of +'s

Furious Gizmatic Goggles: 1296 armor, +48 str, +28 stam +13 hit rating, +38 crit rating, Slightly increases stealth detection, Use: See far into the distance.
With the +34 attack power and +16 hit rating Libram, the +12 crit rating and 5% snare resist Meta gem, +4 str and +6 stam blue gem, and finally +4 crit gem socket bonus.

It's a beast. They look freaking cool as hell too. I'll update my skin to reflect these changes as soon as I don't have more important things to do (maybe never! lol)

Account #2 re-subscribed

I started paying for a WoW account again. GOD KNOWS WHY..

I still hate the game, but I like some of the players enough to want to chill with them in game. There are some fun aspects, it's just totally NOT a real MMORPG. There is no world pvp.... I mean.... wtf is an MMO without town raids and land control ?

But still, I play again. I'm leveling a new warrior. I always wanted escape artist =D His name is Voig. Come say Hi on Kirin'Tor server.

Updated my skin to reflect in-game

I got gladiators shoulders to replace my "of the bold" ones. These look really sweet.

I also replaced Deep Thunder with Mooncleaver. You can really feel the benefit of the 5% crit. The stupid thing is that this weapon seems to be hitting harder then Deep Thunder was. Watch my videos of BGs and you can see how much better I am doing with the new weapon. The increase in DPS is a huge improvement over the stun proc.

I used to think maces were the way to go, but after playing with this axe I am convinced I was wrong. Now I just wish I was not undead. At this point in PVP it really feels like the stun resistance and Bloodfury for increased burst dps would be a lot better than having WOTF. The same is true of the 5% health boost and warstomp. I guess WotF is nice a lot of the time, but those abilities are nice ALL the time. That is the difference. What happens when you get matched up against a team with no warlock for seduce, then suddenly WotF is basically useless considering I have deathwish and berzerker rage already.

Kharazan

My guild has now started running three copies of the instance "kharazan" which is the 10 man raid instance in burning crusade that supplies tier 4 armor sets. The great thing about this is that now even with my inactive "working man" status I can get a spot running this bad ass instance.

VOIG features

Voig is really growing and kicking ass. The ability to use the site has been greatly improved over the last two weeks and continues to improve on a daily basis. Soon we will be bringing in major gaming guilds to jump start the process. If you know any gamers at all and want them to love you forever point them to Voig.com and tell them it will make their lives complete.
